While tinkering in the Metaverse I found a new ability! Believe it or not... I can make things INVISIBLE! Walls, floors, buttons. The buttons. Don’t do the buttons! 🚫✋
In theory, invisible buttons sound great but I made the buttons invisible and then I accidentally pushed the button, and poof! All of the floors are gone. Of course, I jumped back and hit another button and now the whole system is self-destructing. I panicked, exited the Metaverse as fast as I could but I dropped my private key on the way out 😢
There’s no way I’m going back there but if you want to, then be my guest! The key could unlock a wallet with 0.1 ETH in it and if you’re willing to go through the trouble of retrieving it, then it’s all yours but you have to be quick. As the test location is falling apart others from the Metaverse are going to be looking for that key too. So here’s what you’ll need for the journey.
If you already have a wallet that supports Ethereum, skip the next section and move on to My Wallet.

Congrats! Now you have a Metamask wallet.
The key to my wallet is sitting in a Decentraland test location. Decentraland is a virtual world owned and created by its users. Anyone can buy a plot of land, build a game on it, create wearable items, and objects to decorate properties. Creators can charge for games, or sell their creations to other players using in-game currency. Currencies in Metaverses can be easily exchanged for other Cryptocurrencies. Land owners and in-game cryptocurrency holders can vote on changes to the game which makes it a game for players and by players.
Before you waste your time hunting for an empty wallet, verify that there’s still money in it by visiting Etherscan. Etherscan can be used to search through historical transactions on an Ethereum wallet. Here’s the link to the data on my wallet on Etherscan. You can see how much is left on the wallet in the Overview section.
